Simons Does Kvdrat

A new collaboration with Danish textile manufacturer Kvadrat and Belgian fasion designer and Dior creative director Raf Simons will be unveiled this month. The Kvadrat/Raf Simons collection brings the acclaimed designer’s exceptional sense of style to the home. Distinguished by the innovative blending of color and materials for which he is known in the fashion world, Raf Simons’s first collection of textiles and accessories for the home is by turns sophisticated and playful, and produced according to the exacting standards associated with Kvadrat. Kvadrat was established in Denmark in 1968 and has deep roots in Scandinavia’s design tradition. It holds the leading position in Europe’s high-quality contemporary textiles market.

Incidentally, it was graphic design legend Peter Saville who reached out to Simons. Saville has been working with Kvadrat as an art director and also created the new identity for the Kvadrat/Raf Simons brand.
