My latest project launched this week—an identity, packaging and web assignment for a new boutique winery in Napa called Pilcrow. The name—based on the symbol that indicates a new paragraph—was the inspiration for the over-all typographic concept. Each vintage going forward will feature a different typeface and its designer.

The 2014 Pilcrow Cabernet Sauvignon, Pym Rae Vineyard, is the inaugural offering from the winery. It showcases the neo-classic style and proportionality of some of the original wineries of the Napa Valley—specifically Mt. Veeder. It is available for pre-order now at: pilcrow-wine.com
