Anohni, the artist formerly known as Antony Hegarty and who recently boycotted the Oscars, has released the latest video from her new album, Hopelessness. Directed by Nabil, Drone Bomb Me stars a tearful, melancholy Naomi Campbell lip-syncing the words of a young girl whose family has been killed in a drone strike—a searing indictment of the US-led missions that lead to scores of innocent deaths. Art directed and styled by Riccardo Tisci, the video features clothing by Givenchy on Campbell and underground dancers in confined spaces—a parking garage, a neon-lit city tunnel—evoking a 90s nightclub.
