l.a.Eyeworks has announced the release of BUTTON in a limited-edition “Yello” colorway of 100 individually numbered frames.
Proceeds from sales of the edition benefit the Gai Gherardi Fellowship, annual grant established by the non-profit foundation Art Matters to support the work of groundbreaking artists.
The namesake fellowship not only commemorates Gai’s service as an Art Matters board member for more than three decades, it will also stand as a tribute to her love for artists for years to come. Crafted from titanium in Japan, the Art Matters edition of the BUTTON frame features adjustable nose pads and custom temple tips. Each frame is accompanied by a protective hard case and a lens cleaning cloth, both designed by the artist duo Huntley Muir.
