“Then & Now”

Celebrity and fashion photographer Doug Inglish latest project “Then & Now” features side-by-side portraits, he has photographed of 14 male models; one photo is of the subject from their early years and the other image is them recreating the same scene at least a decade (sometimes two) later.

The portraits showcase men who have grown gracefully into their adulthood years. When possible, Inglish remade the shots exactly, whether it was through clothing, location, or both. It’s here that you can really see how the subjects have changed. Many not only look older but have filled out with muscular builds, grown facial hair, and of course, have more wrinkles on their faces.

In July, a selection of images from “Then & Now” was exhibited at Cubo, a gallery in Mexico City’s historic center. Inglish hopes to continue working on the series, with a view to publish the images as a book in the near future.
