The Olympics LV Style

Always game for an arty collaboration, Louis Vuitton is marking the 2012 London Olympics and Paralympics with an exhibition in their Bond Street flagship. From July 9 to September 11, the luxury label is showing a selection of limited-edition prints in celebration of the Games by Britain’s top art stars. Selected by Tate Museum director Sir Nicholas Serota, artists including Tracey Emin, Howard Hodgkin, Gary Hume and Rachel Whiteread were commissioned to create posters encapsulating the Olympian ideals of determination, excellence and equality. The results? A gold medal for Britain’s artistic muscle.
