“Stop Making Sense” Collector’s Edition

After a successful run at cinemas and IMAX theaters across the US the 40th Anniversary Collector’s Edition of Talking Head’s epic concert film “Stop Making Sense” will be available in Standard HD Blu-ray or 4K UHD with HDR in May.

The release features a newly restored and remixed theatrical cut, a 64-page interior booklet with never-before-seen photography, archival production documents, foreword by Jerry Harrison, and more.

Special Features include two extended cuts of the film: a brand-new Talking Heads Extended Cut (2023) with previously unseen / newly restored footage from “Cities” and “Big Business / I Zimbra” and the original Jonathan Demme Extended Cut (1985) (1989 LaserDisc Transfer).

The disc also includes a 25-minute making-of documentary edited by Bill Ross IV,  Director  Jonathan Demme Commentary (Recorded in 1999, remixed in 2023 featuring previously unpublished archival audio), David Byrne rehearsal tape (Archival VHS footage) and 2023 Dolby Atmos and 1984 Original Stereo mixes.
