The effects of the COVID-19 pandemic have been felt across the world, especially by small businesses who continue to power through everyday to keep their doors open. Footwear designer Vans has just announced a new initiative “Foot the Bill” that strives to help small businesses by partnering with LA-based organization Kids of Immigrants to design of a special line of sneakers. The new collection will be featured exclusively on Vans’ website and LA’s Mi Vida—a shop based in Highland Park—and Mandarin Noodle House of Monterey Park.
The collection features cool aqua backgrounds with cacti graphics and starry shapes. Suede overlays are treated with a darker blue hues and are offset by vibrant pink and clean white laces.
