Since Vivienne Westwood‘s passing last year, designer and widower Andreas Kronthaler has worked to honor her 81-year legacy through sentimental collections. The brand’s Fall/Winter 2023 offering was a thoughtful tribute to Westwood’s impact on fashion, taking us to her hometown of Hollingworth, England, for the seasonal campaign.
Located in Greater Manchester, the village resides in the Borough of Tameside, where the designer was raised and buried. Her loving family stars in the campaign, putting a looking glass against her extensive family tree. Westwood’s rebellious spirit lives on in Kronthaler’s arms, channeled into the campaign set on the designer’s local playground. Family members pose in front of her home at no.6 Millbrook, rocking exaggerated wool blazers, cutoff trousers, and flamboyant ribboned hats.
