Following its departure from social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter earlier this year, the Daniel Lee-helmed fashion house Bottega Veneta has announced that it’s much more in favor of “traditional” media by introducing Issue 01.
The online magazine flicks through slideshows of material, hearing compositions or spoken word pieces, and showcasing the very latest and greatest pieces from Bottega Veneta’s line throughout with conceptual images and lookbook shots. Contributors for Issue 01 include: Barbara Hulanicki, Bindi Steel, Caleb Femi, Chengtao Yi, DeadHungry, Dean Giffin, Elaine Constantine, Frank Hulsbomer, James Lacey, Jonathan Frantini, Kelsey Lu, Kenya Sugai, Masayoshi Matsumoto, Missy Elliott, More and More, Myrza de Muynck, Nicky Lesser, Nubya Garcia, Oumi Janta, Rosemarie Trockel, Rottingdean Bazaar and Annie Collinge, Senta Simond, Storror, Sue Webster, Tyler Mitchell, Tyrone Lebon, Walter Pfeiffer and finally, Zoe Natale Mannella.
Issue 01 is littered with branded poster-like content, as well as pieces of media that — if Bottega Veneta were to have a social media platform — could very well go viral. However, it’s all contained online in one place, and is set to release every quarter in line with the seasons, and for the very first installment, it focuses on Salon 01 and the idea of domesticity.
Take a look at the publication above, and check out the full Issue 01 project on Bottega Veneta’s website.
