After opening the doors to its Paris flagship back in December, Saint Laurent’s creative director Anthony Vaccarello is continuing to connect the fashion house with its Parisian roots, opening the doors to another architecturally alluring venture. Entitled Saint Laurent Babylone, Rue de Grenelle’s newest cultural hub is more than your regular old bookstore; it’s a destination where art, music, fashion and culture of all kinds converge.
Saint Laurent “Babylone” resembles the interior of the house’s new Paris flagship, intermingling sleek, marble tables with raw, rocky shelving and walls. Rare books rest atop an archival Pierre Jeanneret desk and require gloves for flipping through.
Though it’s not just books you can find at “Babylone”—the store also showcases an array of records and magazines, all selected by Vaccarrello.
